Services AS-SBDC is a delivery service of management, technical, and training assistance to small business in American Samoa.
AS-SBDC Provided Services
AS-SBDC uses American Samoa Community College’s resource of professors, staff and students, as well as business consultants in the private sector. The Center provides broad-based management and technical assistance to:
• Individuals who would like to own a business
• Those who are ready to start a business
• Persons who are already in business
Provides business counseling project feasibility assessment, how to increase sales, cash flow management, sources of funding, business operations, international trade, etc.
Provides training workshops, seminars, conferences, and mini courses (custom-tailored to the needs of the small business entrepreneur).
Provides information gathering & dissemination that includes business, industry, and economic data pertaining to small business.
AS-SBDC Facilities Used by the Community
serves as a community outreach program of American Samoa Community College.
Provides Technical Assistance developing a business plan, loan packaging, market surveys, inventory control, accounting and record keeping, etc.
Provides advocacy representing and articulating interests and concerns of small business to the public and relevant forms.
